With this post I'd like to highlight the fairs and surveys which will be in the next week(s).
Meeting C++ and ISOCPP surveys
Yesterday isocpp.org published their annual C++ developer survey "lite", which you can take until next wednesday. You can take a look at the results for 2022 (PDF).
Please also consider taking the larger Meeting C++ community survey, which is more detailed. This is a continuous survey, and holds a bit more then 70 questions at the moment. Take a look at the current results here.
Next week: Meeting C++ online book & tool fair
On Tuesday is the next book & tool fair, the event will host tool demos from Undo, Conan 2.0 and KDABs open source tools and feature the new version of the book Modern C++ for beginners by Slobodan Dmitrović.
This event will start with a kick of session featuring demos and insights of the book, followed by the lounge where you can meet with the book author and the tool vendors to ask your questions and see more demos.
In May: Meeting C++ online job fair - looking for employers
I've published a talk on Hiring for C++ with Meeting C++ today to YouTube, presenting the latest insights the Meeting C++ online job fair provides. The next online C++ job fair starts on Tuesday, May 9th at 15:00 CEST/Berlin/Amsterdam, followed by a second session starting on next day at 20:00 CEST/Berlin/Amsterdam. Each session will go on for 3 hours.
The sign up to the event gives an employer 6 month of listing in the CV Upload form, over which for the last event 100 candidates shared their CV/resumes.
