The monthly statistics update, due to my holiday a little later than usually...

Just a bit more then a month ago we met in Neuss to have the first Meeting C++ Conference, due to that I'll not also provide some inside in the Novemberstatistics, but also will give a little insight in downloads etc.

I'd like to start with the page visitors again:

../../../files/mcpp/stats/visitors_nov.png

As you see, just the week before the event, there is lots of traffic on the site, saturday and sunday are a bit less traffic, before the monday after the event turns in the highest peak of November. After this the site has less and less visitors, as only a few people are returning each day. As our community Partners have removed their Banners, most of this traffic is gone after the event, there is now mostly normal traffic coming in from google and our social media accounts.

As with the browserchart doens't show much changes, I'd continue with the Downloads stats, as we can see so, which talk has been downloaded the most till today, so here is the top5:

  1. 53 Inheritance-free Polymorphism
  2. 40 C++11 Overview
  3. 35 Functional Programming in C++11
  4. 31 C++11 & Qt 5 - Challenges + Solutions
  5. 30 Designing Arcitecture aware Libraries with boost::proto

Now, this chart doesn't mean a lot. I've seen all of these talks, and they were all good. The downloads are no real good measurement, as I have still not received all talks, and some talks are longer available then otheres, hence have more downloads. Interesting is, that even more then a month later, only one talk has crossed the 50 download mark. Just to have comparison, this is the top5 Videos from our youtube channel after views to compare:

  1. 324 Good C++ Coding Style (Keynote)
  2. 209 C++11 Overview Part 1
  3. 205 Qt5 & C++11
  4. 203 Clang LibTooling
  5. 174 Networkprogramming with boost::asio

So, the first videos received a lot of initial views, some other videos have catched up since then. I haven't yet received Michael Wongs Slides, thats why he is not showing up in the Download statistic. You'll find all videos at our yt channel. Not all videos are online yet, I'll try to upload most before christmas, but there are only a few ones left, where I got the slides to recast them...
