This is great news for the conference! We have been in contact with some possible sponsors and partners for the conference, but yet had from none of them a confirmation. This changed today, as Intel confirmed, that it would like to be one of the Gold Sponsors of this event. Also there is a confirmation that they will present one or two talks at the conference. Those will probably be:

• C++ Math: Boost uBlas with Intel MKL
• Intel Threading Building Blocks

Intel will also present some Ultrabooks at the Event!

A short general note on sponsoring

It is possible to sponsor the event as a gold, silver or bronze sponsor. Its not to expensive, the gold and silver is limited, and includes a few free tickets too. Gold sponsors might also get some exibition space at the conference, and place a C++ related talk at the conference. I've worked with Intel since Meego in different ways, and they were always a great help, and do a lot for C++. So I'm very happy, to have them as a sponsor at the event, and to be able to welcome them as the first sponsor!
