So, time for another post on numbers about this site. November shows some interesting numbers, even though that the traffic is a bit less then in October or September. Thats just natural, as a lot of visitors came for the series about the papers for Chicago or the conference.
And I'd like to start on some numbers about the conference, this year there were 203 people visiting the conference, and had the chance to enjoy the 2 keynotes and in between had the hard job of choosing in between 21 talks the right 7 to watch. The plannings for 2014 have begun, but I can't yet say anything to details. There is a plan for a sponsored Studentprogram and moving the conference to Berlin, but more details in 2014.
Back to the monthly statistics.... So far 2013 is a very successful month, the first 11 month saw an average of ~13000 visitors per month. While September had more then 21k visitors, in October it still was around 17k, and now for November its 13709, and as the graph shows, there are now major peaks this time:
You can hardly see the conference, the referrers are still dominated by reddit, cplusplus.com and isocpp.org:
And to close this edition, a short overview over the social networks. Since the conference especially G+ has grown largely, and if I add the numbers up over all Social media I get 2171 'Followers' as of today. While Twitter and G+ have a constant growth, facebook seems not to have reached its critical mass, with only 275 likes, it seems C++ has it a little easier on the twitters and G+ sites. I'm not sure that the growth in G+ (> 100 new followers since the conference) aligns up with the conference or with Youtube making Comments G+ mandatory. I'll close with an overview over the social media:
1431 | |
G+ | 465 |
275 | |
Youtube | 484 |
