Today I have the honor to announce the second Gold Sponsor! Like last year, BlackBerry is also in 2013 supporting the C++ Community and our conference!

BlackBerry is still kind a new to the C++ lands, as they used to be based on a different technology. But with the decision to be based on QNX and Qt as the major software stack for their new mobile operating system BlackBerry 10, C++ became a first class citizen also in the lands of BlackBerry! In fact BlackBerry did tour the world last year, to show everybody how great apps are written with Qt, C++ and Cascades QML! And they continued doing this in 2013. So BlackBerry is as a matter of fact very active in building its community also in the Qt/C++ lands, so I am very happy to also welcome them this year as a gold sponsor to Meeting C++ 2013!
