Late Tickets are cancelled

I had the plan to offer late tickets from this week on, simply because last year the major batch of ticket sales was coming in too late, that it was very difficult to plan the exact size of the conference, I had to reorder t-shirts 3 times for example.
So for this year, as a lesson learned, I introduced late tickets, which would be active from Thursday on. These tickets have two purposes: first, make people buy the tickets at a date where its better for me, most funding for the conference comes through the tickets, so all down payments are mostly financed through the ticket sales. And the second purpose is simply to charge people for the more work I have, when a lot of the sales are late (45% of sales last year were in the last 4 weeks).
This has also something to do with the data I have from the last 2 years: people seem to buy early bird tickets shortly before the deadline ends. But this year is very different, already in Summer there was no real break in the sales in the holiday season, now only few tickets are left. Maybe its because of Berlin, Scott or Hartmut. Maybe its just because Meeting C++ has doubled its reach in social media. But its really nice to know that Meeting C++ will be sold out again this year!
It does not make sense to charge a few of you a higher price, so late tickets are cancelled for this year.
Meeting C++ will sell out soon!
Last week a total of 33 Tickets were sold, today 4 tickets already were sold. So its only 8 Tickets currently left of the official ticket batch. So, as mentioned, no late tickets. There might still be a few more tickets available later in October, but I can't yet say when and how many.
