Since mid of June the program of the 5th Meeting C++ conference was taking shape. With the selection of the talks it was also clear in which tracks they go, so that the schedule it self was almost ready, except a last detail: the closing keynote.
In the last years I heard many names for keynotes, but when I ask people, I often only get the usual popular names. I've tried to choose a speaker from Europe for the last two conferences, and with Bjarne opening the conference, we already have this kind of satisfied. With 10 years of boostcon/C++Now, I thought about a boost focused keynote, and decided to focus on one of the most important new libraries and changes coming with the new standards to boost and C++: boost::hana and its author Louis Dionne.
Louis will speak about doing template metaprogramming with hana, but also share his thoughts on what standardization could learn from hana and similar efforts to do TMP with C++14 and beyond. His keynote has the title "C++ metaprogramming: evolution and future directions".
