The first month for the call for papers has past, time for a little update.
In total there are currently 13 talks in the database, plus 4 talks from Aspen, which are already at the website.
Today I have put up the first version of the schedule, showing the general event layout for this years conference. The call for papers will last till 15th May, so roughly one more month! Only once there are 34 talks submitted, I will end the CfP earlier, as then we already can only accept every 2nd talk (maybe even less, if some talks span over two sessions). This is also to keep the work for the committee small. In total we have space for 21 Sessions plus 2 keynotes at the conference.
As a little spoiler, the titles of the already submitted talks:
- Methodology for Studying the History of the wxWidgets Library Project
- Simpler C++ Code through C++11
- C++1y: "Concepts-Lite" - how a future template parameter type system might look like
- UI prototyping and development for multiple devices in C++
- C++11: User-defined Literals and Literal Types
- Test-Driven Development and Mock Objects with Eclipse CDT, CUTE and Mockator
- Webapplications with C++ using tntnet
- New IDL to C++ language mapping
- Clean C++ - throw down the gauntlet against software entropy!
- Border Condition for Exceptions in C++
- STL-11
- Bringing your code to the web with Emscripten
- Database Frontends with Qt
I'm not sure which ones are going to make it to the conference, but its already a pretty awesome collection of topics, and there is more to come! Please submit your talk to our C++ conference!
