Voting on the talks of Meeting C++ 2024 has begun

Once again the greater C++ community can contribute to the program of the Meeting C++ conference by voting on the submissions.

Start your voting session today! This year has seen 115 submissions for the conference. It is a good mix of new topics, great speakers and will form a great program for the conference. Right now 23 folks have already started their voting sessions!

The voting will go on until Sunday August 11th, after which the talk selection begins. The voting it self gives a guidance on which talks should make it to the conference. This year is extra special as the conference is ahead of the ISO C++ committee meeting! Some committee members also submitted talks, so Attendees will have their chance to chat with the C++ Committee for 3 days in Berlin!

Most folks will not be able to see information on the speaker, but my staff and former speakers mostly will be able to see who submitted a talk. As each talk receives a ton of votes, I allow speakers to vote on their own talks if they like. It has only a minor influence on the result. Each talk can receive a voting between 0 and 5, where 0 is worst and 5 is best.

The only requirement is that you have a Meeting C++ account or have purchased a ticket for this years conference (see next paragraph), those that subscribed to the Meeting C++ newsletter will get a voting newsletter as a reminder to vote.

If you bought a ticket for this years event and/or submitted a talk, you already received an email with a voting link, over this link you can vote without having an login at Meeting C++. As not everyone is registered with their correct or current email, this email might reach you later or not at all.
