This years Meeting C++ is special for many reasons, but one of them is that with 2024 Meeting C++ has now been for 10 years in Berlin!

It was Scott Meyers who opened up the conference with his keynote in 2014! And like in 2014 we'll be this year again around 300 folks in Berlin. Back on square one? Not exactly. Meeting C++ is in 2024 a hybrid conference, so that also 100+ folks from all over the world will be joining us in the live stream.

Actually I'd like to commit to make Meeting C++ 2025 also again a hybrid conference. The best way for you to support this is to buy a ticket for this year, as that is what is financing the work Meeting C++ does. All conference tickets include after-conference-video access (aka early video access). Don't count on this being available after the conference, if Meeting C++ gets its funding through the conference I won't bother with trying sell folks online video access. Also not all speakers like that suddenly other conferences monetize their talks.

This year the C++ committee is visiting Meeting C++, and all keynote speakers have their fair share of experience with C++ standardization and application. This makes this years program special, and many committee members give talks about various things related to the C++ standard.

One tradition I want to restart this year is the conference t-shirt, I'm going for the same company that has made the prior high quality shirts again. To aim at being able to wear this years t-shirt still in 10 years, like the one from 2014 today.
