Kevlin Henney

Kevlin Henney - Programming with GUTs (25th November)

Slobodan Dmitrovic

Slobodan Dmitrovic - C++ for C Developers - Migrating from C to C++ (25th + 26th November)

Trainings listing

These 4 trainings focus on various important current aspects of C++. From the migration to C++ from C, which is also a great course if you migrate to Modern C++ from "C with classes" like code. Or a refresher on unit testing by Kevlin Henney himself. Nicolai Josuttis gives a two day training, which is also available as single days: on the first day generic programming with templates and auto is bringing you a referesher, while focusing on C++20 Concepts, Ranges and Views on the next day. I've made the decision that prices for trainings are now fixed, half/full day trainings are 499 € and two day trainings are 999 €, this already includes taxes and all fees from the ticketshop. Attending the trainings will let you learn great new ways to think about your code and it gives support Meeting C++!

So these trainings are after Meeting C++ 2024, and you don't need to be attending the conference for taking part in them. Though combi tickets are available that allow you to attend both with one ticket purchase (and saving a little bit of money). There are no onsite trainings at Meeting C++, and doing those trainings online is easier for everyone anyways. This also gives everyone at Meeting C++ an opportunity to learn about the trainings and make a booking for one of the trainings. You could also book 3 of the trainings and attend either the unit testing or the C to C++ migration followed up by the generic programming and C++20 Concepts/Ranges/Views training.

Also let me thank the trainers that have made this available on short notice. The scheduling for this was rather tough, as this has to fit into my own schedule, and hence this week was chosen as it fits best with the available trainers. With the C++ committee meeting being the next week and many trainers being booked for a few months in advance, I am happy to have a great selection of trainings covering various topics.
