We are looking for a team member with character who enjoys asking questions and not just providing answers. Someone who is brave enough to challenge the status quo and takes pleasure in further developing our software platform.
We are a team of 15 people who enjoy solving complex problems. We maintain an open and interdisciplinary conversation culture. We often exchange our ideas during extended walks or at a midday BBQ on the rooftop terrace.
We plan our developments together, work independently on our respective projects, and celebrate our successes together. As a result, we have become the world leader in software for calculating environmental noise and sound in rooms.
Your Profile:
- Completed university studies in computer science
- Profound knowledge of C/C++
- At least basic experience in GUI programming (e.g., Qt, WinAPI) and software design patterns
- Preferably, experience in Test-Driven Development, unit test frameworks (e.g., googletest), and benchmarks (e.g., googlebenchmark) would be desirable but not mandatory
- Ideally, familiarity with version control tools (e.g., git, svn)
- Good analytical skills
- Must have excellent English language skills
Your Tasks:
- In a small team, you will be responsible for transitioning a codebase from C to C++ (refactoring), contributing to the ongoing development of our software products, including CadnaA and CadnaR.
- You will collaborate with various experts to explore the implementation of the latest insights in the field of sound calculation.
- As a team, you will engage with modern technologies such as graphical representations, software security, and online functionalities.
- After the release, you will receive direct feedback from our customers. This close interaction between research, development, and application allows you to be involved in the entire process.
