Nikolaj Fogh

Nikolaj has been programming for over 20 years. Starting with Basic and Pascal, he eventualy moved on to C and C++. In the early years of his programming career, he has been doing mainly embedded C, but has moved to C++ which for the last 8 years has been his primary language.
Nikolaj is currently a Software Developer at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy where he is involved with developing control software for Wind Turbines. In his previous careers, he has been in the medical industry, as well as defense and the offshore industry.
Nikolaj finds it exciting and challenging to provide easy to use utilities, libraries and tools for developers who are not necessarily expert C++ programmers. He also spends much of his professional life educating colleagues on best practices, modern C++ and general software design.
