Learn C++ by Example

Frances Buontempo

On Day 2 at 16:00 (CET/Berlin) in Track E [Bernstein Room and online]

How do you remove negative numbers from a container? remove_if doesn't actually remove elements. More modern C++ gives us better approaches which are less confusing. This talk will show old and new ways to remove negatives, helping you think about what is going on under the hood and why.

Using a deceptively simple question provides a learning opportunity. Use this for practice or try it out with colleagues. This talk will demonstrate lots of different approaches, some sensible, and some silly, but all giving you a chance to revise and learn C++.
