Evgenii Seliverstov is a senior software engineer at Bloomberg and an open source enthusiast. He specializes in high-performance distributed systems, databases, and infrastructure tooling. As a seasoned C++ and Python developer, Evgeny was attracted to Rust and its ecosystem early on due to its safety and performance capabilities. He is particularly interested in its seamless integration with existing systems and development practices. While working on a Ph.D. dissertation in computer science, Evgeny researched parallel architectures with GPUs and compiler internals. In his occasional spare time, he enjoys cycling and hiking.
