Who are we looking for
For our embedded development team, which is creating the latest e-mobility charger hardware and software, we are looking for a team lead with strong technical and development background.
Required skills:
Analytical and structured thinking skills
Communication skills
Experience in embedded software development in C/C++
Affinity for hardware and electronics which are designed/developed inhouse
Ability to discuss and design new software and potentially hardware with the team
Interest in standards and norms related to e-mobility (e.g. 61851, calibration law, EMC standards etc.) and ensure that the development team is complying to these norms.
Knowledge of low level bus protocols and hardware interfaces like (UART, RS485 HD and FD, I2C, SPI,WS28, Modbus...)
Experience with tools like LabView, Logic Analyzers or oscilloscopes
Job Tasks:
Team Lead of the embedded hardware and software development
Managing requirements, designs, specifications
Interdisciplinary coordination with other teams to incorporate their requirements into the development process
Roadmap planning
Support the purchasing process for required hardware and parts
Close consultation with the higher level software teams
Planning of test setups and end-to-end tests
Validation of embedded soft/hardware, feedback to hardware for changes using Logic Analyzer's, triggers, function generators and oscilloscopes (Rigol, HP)
Manage the process from prototype to production ready
