Lock-free programming for real-time systems - how compare-exchange will become your new best friend

Scheduled for

I hold a diploma in computer science from Humboldt University, Berlin. I have a keen interest in all things related to algorithms, data structures and discrete mathematics. Since graduating I have worked in the industry for several years as a software engineer. Currently I work at Apex.AI where I am involved in developing the Eclipse iceoryx middleware and its integration into the robotics framework ROS 2. I mainly write software in C++ and particularly enjoy generic programming and writing concurrent algorithms. Further interests include all kinds of applied mathematics in the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence and robotics. I am also an avid fan of mathematical riddles and believe that fun and science need to go hand in hand.
