The deadline for submitting talks to Meeting C++ just passed. 74 talks by 63 speakers were submitted, this is the best result ever.

Voting

The voting will start on June 1st, this years and former attendees of Meeting C++ will be able to vote. the votes will be weighted in the following:

You are considered part of the program committee as a former speaker or a staff member of Meeting C++. Only the program committee will be able to see the name and speaker description for each talk, to provide further guidance in the final selection. As the voting starts on Tuesday, Monday is the last day to get your ticket to have a higher voting.

Like in the last years, the top 7 voted talks will make it to the conference. I might extend each track to have 8 talks instead of 7, as choosing the general C++ track will be really hard. Most (if not all) submissions for the theme track on #gamedev should make it to the conference.

The 5th track

Exclusive to this year, I have decided to organize a 5th track for Meeting C++ 2016. This track is my personal track and I will choose certain speakers for this. Most of them have submitted a talk, a few others aren't sure if they are able to attend.

So the 5 tracks of Meeting C++ 2016 will have the following focus in chosing the talks:

Missing the deadline...

You still can submit your talk until monday, when I will setup the voting. BUT there is already a very good competition, and your talk will only have a chance if its voted into the top talks, which will be difficult.
