Guy Davidson has been writing games for very nearly 40 years. For half of that time he has worked at Creative Assembly, makers of the Total War franchise, where he is the Head of Engineering Practice. He is one of the founders of #include<C++>, the diversity and inclusion group for the C++ community. In his "spare" time he serves on the C++ standard committee as a member of the BSI. He also plays piano, teaches Tai Chi, and involves himself with local politics more than might seem necessary.
