Intel® Graphics Technology for general purpose computing
In many models of Intel processors that include Intel® Graphics Technology, you can offload a reasonable amount of parallelizable work. The Intel® C++ Compiler provide a feature which enables offloading general purpose compute kernels to processor graphics using Intel® Cilk Plus programming model which gives a seamless porting experience for C/C++ developers. This feature enables the processor graphics silicon area for general purpose computing. The key idea is to utilize the compute power of both CPU cores and GPU execution units in tandem for better utilization of available compute power.
This talk will show many details on Intel Graphic Technology and ways to offload calculations to integrated graphics.
